Handling Your Fine Art Print

Step 1 : Unpack carefully

Make sure that you give your hands a really good wash so that they are nice and clean when you handle your print.

Carefully remove the print from the packaging. Handle the print by the corners while trying to avoid too much pressure.

Step 2 : Prepare a clean surface

Have some tissue or a clean sheet of paper ready on a clean surface and place the print image side down.

Place some books on the back of the print in each corner and leave overnight. Check your print in the morning and it should now be flat. If not, leave it under the books for longer.

Step 3 : Framing

Time to frame it! Make sure you get it framed behind glass so that it is protected. I have previously ordered from Picture Frame Express and have been really pleased with the quality.

If you are taking your print to the framers don’t worry about steps 1 and 2 your framer will prepare your print for you.
